Jake Schneberger is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and sold books with Eagle/Blitz from 1998-2001. In 2011, Jake had a surgery to remove part of a large brain tumor. He was readmitted to the hospital on Dec. 3rd and doctors have discovered a new mass in a different part of the brain.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Sam Wee.  Sam was with Southwestern for 10 years, starting as a bookman in 1973 and rising to a District Sales Manager.  Sam was with Southwestern for 10 years, starting as a bookman in 1973 and rising to a District Sales Manager.  During that time Sam lead a Top Team 3 times and even earned a spot in the Top 10 Organizational Leaders of the Year.  He had an immeasurable impact on those that were lucky enough to know him and he will be dearly missed.

Heartbreak in Haiti | Southwestern CompanyAfter Southwestern's Great Recruiter's Seminar we sent out a call to SW dealers, alumni and employees to raise funds to help those affected by the Haitian earthquake.  

I am proud to announce that we received donations of $6,381.83.  With Southwestern's $5,000 match, that brings our Red Cross donation total to $11,381.83.  

Thank you to everyone who was able to help with this cause.  It reinforces the lesson many of us learned at Southwestern; you may be amazed at what you can accomplish if you just ask.

Dortch Oldham 1919-2009

On Thursday morning, February 26, 2009, one of the greatest pillars in the history of Southwestern, Dortch Oldham, passed away. He was 89 years old.  Dortch grew up on a farm north of Nashville, and heard about selling books from a friend. As he said in an interview here several years ago, "He told me you could make as much as $200. That was during the Depression, and I was on the farm - that was real money to me." Read More.
